Jeszcze raz nadmienię, że te koordynaty pochodzą z urządzenia SPOT GPS, które milczało od godziny 9:20.

I know the spot messenger unit well and have been using it for 3 years. The 911 button he initially activated would have paged out to geos rescue co-ordination centre in the states. They should be co-ordinating the rescue. The help button he pressed an hour ago would have had to be activated and is not automatic.
There is also a tracking function that is automatic it looks like this was not active at any stage through the trip to get updates out he would have to manually push the button the help button is self programable and usually emails or sms his safety team. Its good they have a recent update.
I would probably be getting a private vessel to find him if the official authorities wont go out at dark. If he had payed for the geos rescue insurance it would cover this eventuality http://www.geosalliance.com/faqs.html
The Spot co-ordinates on the spot site are in decimal and need to be converted to hours day min format. This has confused rescue authorities in the past. The spot rescue co-ordination centre in the states should be co-ordinating this rescue. Anyone know if they are involved?
Are you in contact with them are they aware that the coordinates need to be converted to hours days min format? http://www.springfrog.com/converter/decimal-time.htm
